At Tailteann Irish Tours our focus is to provide a safe environment whereby our visitors can enjoy one of our tours in harmony with the natural environment and in accordance with how we interact with other actors and people in general, were practicable. Walking tours which are our main focus, can present hazards to with we strive to negotiate with care and attention and in our dealings with the public to with we night share a public space. We request that our clients assist us in this regard by conforming to our advice and instructions when on one of our tours. Natural hazards such as noise, traffic and all of the usual features which one encounters in a city and rural environment we try to deal with, with common sense and courtesy. To assist us in this regard we look for the cooperation and understanding of our visitors.
We will always work to try to mitigate any issues that might arise in the performance of our tours with our clients. Our tour schedules try to take account of making them accessible at the designated times to visitors but there may be occasion whereby circumstances outside of our control prevent this, particularly in the case of engaging for example with another tour provider.
By way of sharing and enjoying one of our tours we seek at all times the support of our visitors in trying to ensure that Safety, Health and Welfare from all perspectives are adhered to in a joint effort. We trust that in meeting obligations as set out in the 2005, Safety, Health and Welfare Act we can rely on your cooperation in fulfilling our joint responsibilities.

A walk through Dublin City in the company of a native Dubliner with the emphasis on history, culture and the great Irish ability to tell a story and to sing a song. In addition, and at no extra cost an actual rendition of a self-penned verse or perhaps a spot of warbling. I'd like to share my love of history with you, after all the past is our present and should be part of our future.
Tours are in English, with Irish translations, where appropriate. I also speak Intermediate level Dutch. Duration: 3 hours approx., with a short break in-between. Tour prices and booking options are available in the booking section.
The contact hours are Monday to Sunday, 09:00 - 20:00 IST.
We can also arrange a half-day private tour for a maximum of twelve people. This incorporates a collection of parts of our three Tours combined. Tour duration 4-5 hours approx. A break for refreshments in between. Group of 2: €50 per person, Group of 3: €30 p.p., Group of 4 or more: €25 p.p. Refreshments: €10 approx. (This is an extra). Please contact us for details.
